Matt Lewis - Shortly after 8am on October 8th, 1981, one thing was known for sure…A STAR was being born. Even Matty Lew himself was unaware of his talent until the summer of '01. "I guess he's what you can call a late bloomer," Nick Mattison (of Ardi Mason) said. Although he enjoyed making up parodies to his favorite Beatles tracks, singing Brooks and Dunn on the karaoke machine with his family, and literally "JUMP"ing off his dad's bed while listening to Van Halen at a very young age, it wasn't until ONE video by ONE band in particular caught his attention that it became VERY clear what Matty wanted to do with his life. " Santa Monica by Everclear was the turning point for me," he proudly stated. "If it weren't for that song, I'd probably be a lot richer."

Matt has an extraordinary personality; he is professional, courteous, entertaining and just plain fun to be around. His vocals are blazing and always spot on in tune, toned, with the just the right energy for each thoughtful and inspired performance. He treats every audience and venue with respect and always has something positive to say about the staff, audience and venue during a performance. He is a great entertainer, musician and friend to everyone that knows him. He’s very experienced and has had great success with many local musical projects. The Vernacular musicians consider themselves lucky to have someone like Matt Lewis to lead us through each night of fun memories we create!
